SUMMARY
Synopsis of Senate Judiciary Amendment
The Senate Judiciary Amendments specify that the proposed funds would be appropriated to the
local government division of the Department of Finance and Administration for distribution in
Bernalillo County rather than the Administrative Office of the Courts.
Synopsis of Bill
Senate Bill 489 appropriates $250 thousand from the general fund to Administrative Office of
the Courts for the purpose of supporting the Neutral Corner program. Any unexpended funds or
unencumbered balance remaining at the end of FY 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
