SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
House Memorial 1 states the federal initiatives for residential substance abuse treatment, Chil-
dren of Incarcerated Parents Study Act, and education deserve the support of the New Mexico
Legislature. Also, the House Memorial states the New Mexico congressional delegation be
asked to support these initiatives and the memorial be transmitted to them, the director of the
federal Bureau of Prisons, and the director of the National Institute of Corrections.
