Synopsis of Bill
House Joint Memorial 70 requests the Department of Public Safety and the Governor’s Office of
Homeland Security, in consultation with other state agencies, review disaster response plans to
ensure that there is an adequate number of first responders and trained personnel available to
supplement their ranks or serve in their stead when necessary.
