SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
House Bill 998 amends the Procurement Code to require the Attorney General’s review and ap-
proval of contracts entered into by state agencies that are not exempt from the provisions of the
Procurement Code and have a total cost in excess of $200 thousand. The provisions of the bill do
not apply to contracts for emergency procurements pursuant to the provisions of Section 13-1-
127 NMSA 1978.
