SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
House Bill 991 proposes to amend the hours in which alcoholic beverages are permitted to be
sold, served and consumed on licensed dispensers or retailer including racetracks and resorts.
The proposed change would allow sales to begin at 10 am rather than 12 noon on Sundays.
Significant Issues
RLD report that the proposed changes would not effect the Department.
It is not clear what the expected increase in sales would be should the legal hours of alcohol sales
be amended.
