SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
House Bill 843 appropriates $500 thousand from the general fund to LFC for the purpose of de-
termining the financing options of the Health Security Act. This bill is contingent upon the pas-
sage of House Bill 746 or Senate Bill 636 in the 47
th
Legislature, first session.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The appropriation of $500 thousand contained in this bill is a non-recurring expense to the gen-
eral fund. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of FY06 shall revert
to the general fund.
COMPANIONSHIP
House Bill 843 is companion to House Bill 746 and its duplicate Senate Bill 636, enacting the
Health Security Act.
