SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
House Bill 470 appropriates $500 thousand from the general fund to the board of regents of New
Mexico Highlands University to plan and develop the Highlands University Leadership and Pol-
icy Institute.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The appropriation of $500 thousand contained in this bill is a recurring expense to the general
fund. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of FY06 would revert to
the general fund.
OTHER SUBSTANTIVE ISSUES
This project was not included in the list of priority projects submitted to CHE for review.
