SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
House Bill 307 increases the membership of the military base planning commission from 15 to
17 by allowing the Governor two additional appointments.
Significant Issues
The purpose of the commission is to work with communities to provide support to military bases
and to work to maintain the presence of military bases in the state.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The Economic Development Department will have minor costs to accommodate two additional
members.
