SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
House Bill 106 amends the Motor Vehicle code and creates parking privileges for permanent
wheelchair only disabled persons, provides for different signage for permanent non-wheelchair
disabilities and permanent wheelchair only disabilities, increases the minimum number of desig-
nated disabled parking spaces in parking lots from 1 in every 8 spaces to 1 in every 4 spaces, and
creates penalties for parking in a designated permanent wheelchair only disabled parking space
without displaying a permanent wheelchair only disabled placard.
