AN ACT

RELATING TO STATE PARKS; PROVIDING FOR THE SALE OF STATE PARK PASSES BY PRIVATE VENDORS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. A new section of Chapter 16, Article 2 NMSA 1978 is enacted to read:

     "STATE PARK PASSES--VENDORS.--The director of the state parks division of the energy, minerals and natural resources department may authorize vendors to sell state park passes, permits and other state park products in compliance with rules adopted by the secretary. A vendor authorized to sell park passes, permits or other state park products may retain

a portion of the sale price."
