I request that the following change be made to a prior appropriation:

FIREFIGHTING EQUIPMENT PURCHASE STATEWIDE, RET

The unexpended balance of the appropriation to the local government division in Subsection

370 of Section 22 of Chapter 429 of Laws 2003 to purchase a fire engine for wildfires

statewide shall not be expended for the original purpose but is appropriated to the energy,

minerals and natural resources department to purchase equipment to fight wildfires statewide.
