AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE THIRD JUDICIAL DISTRICT ATTORNEY FOR STAFF FUNDING.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--

          A. One hundred seventy thousand two hundred fifty-three dollars ($170,253) is appropriated from the general fund to the third judicial district attorney for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 for the following purposes and in the following amounts:

                (1) thirty-three thousand eight hundred fifty-nine dollars ($33,859) for salary and benefits funding of an administrative secretary for the third judicial district attorney's office;

                (2) forty thousand one hundred twenty-one dollars ($40,121) for salary and benefits funding of a victim advocate for the third judicial district office;

                (3) forty-nine thousand three hundred eighty-nine dollars ($49,389) for salary and benefits funding of a program specialist for the third judicial district attorney's office; and

                (4) forty-six thousand eight hundred eighty-four dollars ($46,884) for salary and benefits funding of a program specialist for the third judicial district attorney's office.

          B. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
