AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR AN ENGINEERING STUDY FOR CLOSURE OF A LANDFILL IN VALENCIA COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of environment for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to contract for an engineering study for a landfill closure in Valencia county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
