AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO CONTRACT FOR SERVICES FOR FAMILIES EXPERIENCING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the Indian affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to contract for domestic and sexual violence crisis programming for adults and children in rural northwest New Mexico. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
