AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE FOURTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT ATTORNEY FOR STAFF FUNDING IN THE LAS VEGAS AND PECOS OFFICES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--

          A. One hundred fifty-five thousand six hundred twenty-one dollars seventy-seven cents ($155,621.77) is appropriated from the general fund to the fourth judicial district attorney for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 for the following purposes and in the following amounts:

                (1) fifty-four thousand seven hundred six dollars thirteen cents ($54,706.13) for salary and benefits funding for an assistant trial attorney for the Pecos office;

                (2) thirty-five thousand seven hundred thirty dollars ninety cents ($35,730.90) for salary and benefits funding for an administrative assistant for the Pecos office; and

                (3) sixty-five thousand one hundred eighty-four dollars seventy-four cents ($65,184.74) for salary and benefits funding for a special programs director for the Las Vegas office.

          B. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
