AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO IDENTIFY AND CORRECT EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY DEFICIENCIES IN THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION--EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY DEFICIENCIES.--Twenty-one million dollars ($21,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the education technology bureau of the public education department for expenditure in fiscal years 2005 through 2008 for the purpose of identifying and correcting educational technology deficiencies in the public schools. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
