AN ACT
MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR MESALANDS DINOSAUR MUSEUM PROGRAMS AND FOR THE RODEO PROGRAM AT MESALANDS COMMUNITY COLLEGE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred twenty-eight thousand dollars ($128,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the commission on higher education for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to support, market and expand programs for science and learning at the Mesalands dinosaur museum in Tucumcari. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
Section 2. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred ninety-four thousand dollars ($194,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the commission on higher education for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 for the rodeo program at Mesalands community college. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
