AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO WESTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY FOR RECURRING NURSING PROGRAM NEEDS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred eighty-four thousand three hundred fifty dollars ($584,350) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of western New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal years 2005 and 2006 to fund recurring expenditures of a bachelor of science degree in nursing and registered nurse program expansion. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
