AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO SERVE ADDITIONAL PERSONS IN THE DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES MEDICAID WAIVER PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Six million four hundred thousand dollars ($6,400,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to provide services in New Mexico's developmental disabilities medicaid waiver program to approximately four hundred eligible persons who are not currently enrolled due to insufficient program funding. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
