    Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 256

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, line 24, after the beginning quotation marks insert "reasonable".

    2. On page 1, line 24, strike "instrument" and insert in lieu thereof "agreement".

    3. On page 3, line 4, after "thereto" insert a period and strike the remainder of the sentence.

    4. On page 3, line 6, strike "reasonable".

    5. On page 3, line 6, strike "shall be".

    6. On page 3, line 7, after "form" insert "may be considered a reasonable division order".

    7. On page 4, strike lines 19 through 22.

    8. On page 5, between lines 16 and 17, insert the following new section:

    "Section 4. APPLICABILITY.--The provisions of this act apply to division orders executed on or after the effective date.".

    9. Renumber the succeeding section accordingly.,           

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
