    Your PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 225

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

        1. On page 5, line 25, after "child" insert a colon and the following:

             "(1) the child's tribe shall be notified as required by Section 32A-1-14 NMSA 1978 and the federal Indian Child Welfare Act of 1978; and".

    2. On page 5, line 25, before "pre-adoptive" insert the paragraph designation "(2)".,

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
