Mr. Speaker:

    Your TAXATION AND REVENUE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 115, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 3, line 24, after "of" strike the remainder of the line, strike line 25, and on page 4, strike lines 1 and 2 and insert in lieu thereof:

"the following nine members, who shall represent geographically the state, affordable housing advocates and practitioners:

                (1) three public members appointed by the governor;

                (2) three public members appointed by the president pro tempore of the senate; and

                (3) three public members appointed by the speaker of the house of representatives.".

     2. On page 4, strike lines 3 through 6 in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof:

          "B. Members of the committee shall be appointed for two-year terms and shall be eligible for reappointment. Vacancies shall be filled by the appropriate appointing authority.".,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
