AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE ALAMOGORDO PUBLIC SCHOOLS READING PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 for the Alamogordo public schools for audio stimulation reading programs in elementary schools. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
