SENATE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___1___ toHOUSE TAXATION AND REVENUE COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR HOUSE BILL 1102, as amended

    1. Strike Items 1 and 2 of House Floor Amendment 2.

    2. On page 1, line 12, strike "A MEDICAL CARE" and insert in lieu thereof "AN INCOME".

    3. On page 1, line 12, after "CREDIT" strike the remainder of the line, strike line 13 up to the period and insert in lieu thereof "FOR CERTAIN MEDICAL CARE EXPENSES".

    4. On page 1, line 23, after "credit" insert "in an amount equal to two thousand eight hundred dollars ($2,800)".

    5. On page 1, line 24, after "expenses" strike the remainder of the line, and strike line 25 through "are".

    6. On page 2, line 2, after "dependent" strike the remainder of the line, strike line 3 in its entirety, strike line 4 through "exceed" and insert in lieu thereof "if those expenses equal".

    7. On page 2, line 5, after "($28,000)" insert "or more within a taxable year and if those expenses are not reimbursed or compensated for by insurance or otherwise".

    8. On page 4, lines 10 through 20, strike Section 2 in its entirety.

    9. Renumber the succeeding section accordingly.
