AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE FOR THE TOURISM DEPARTMENT TO ESTABLISH NEW MEXICO'S OWN "BUY NEW MEXICO" PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the tourism department for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 for the "Buy New Mexico" initiative that provides market access through a wholesale trade show. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
