AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR BILINGUAL EDUCATION AND JOBS PROGRAMS AT LOS PUENTES CHARTER SCHOOL.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to fund programs for jobs and bilingual education at Los Puentes charter school. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
