AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE INDIAN AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT FOR THE INSTITUTE OF AMERICAN INDIAN AND ALASKA NATIVE CULTURE AND ARTS DEVELOPMENT TO SUPPORT A PUBLIC EDUCATION PROGRAM.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Ninety-five thousand dollars ($95,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the Indian affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to support the public education program of the institute of American Indian and Alaska native culture and arts development. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
