AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR SUPPORT OF A CORRECTIONS REHABILITATION PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION--CORRECTIONS REHABILITATION PROGRAM.--Two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) is appropriated to the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 for expenditure through the local government division to support and expand services by a corrections rehabilitation program with at least three years' experience providing both juveniles and adults a strong program of personal responsibility as the best way to life as a free citizen. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
