Amendment sponsored by Representative

    1. On page 1, line 15, strike "BUSINESS" and insert in lieu thereof "ECONOMIC" and strike "PROGRAMS" and insert in lieu thereof "INITIATIVES".

    2. On page 1, line 17, strike "One million dollars ($1,000,000)" and insert in lieu thereof "The following amounts are".

    3. On page 1, line 19, strike "for" and strike lines 20 through 23 in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof a colon and the following new paragraphs and new subsection to read:

             "(1) one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for hydrogen and fuel cell technologies development; 

             (2) two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) for the New Mexico mainstreet program; and

             (3) two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) for the development of business and job opportunities with respect to land grants, tribes and rural communities.

         B. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.".

    4. Reletter the succeeding subsection accordingly.

    5. On page 1, line 25, strike "appropriation" and insert in lieu thereof "appropriations".
