AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE INDIAN AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT FOR THE NAVAJO NATION DIVISION OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOR PHASE I OF A MARKET AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FEASIBILITY STUDY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the Indian affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 for the Navajo Nation division of economic development for phase I of a market and economic development feasibility study for six Navajo chapters in the eastern Navajo agency of the Navajo Nation. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
