Mr. Speaker:

    Your GOVERNMENT AND URBAN AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 1034

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, line 14, after the semicolon insert "MAKING AN APPROPRIATION;".

     2. On page 2, lines 8 and 9, strike "secretary of finance and administration" and insert in lieu thereof "department of transportation".

     3. On page 7, between lines 7 and 8, insert a new Section 6 to read:

     "Section 6. APPROPRIATION.--One million six hundred thousand dollars ($1,600,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of transportation for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to implement and administer the provisions of the State Aircraft Act. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.".

     4. Renumber the succeeding section accordingly.,

and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
