has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, line 11, strike "AN" and insert in lieu thereof "A PARTIAL".

     2. On page 1, lines 12 and 13, strike "OF THE ARMED FORCES OF THE UNITED STATES".

     3. On page 1, line 18, strike "PAY" and insert in lieu thereof "PENSIONS".

     4. On page 1, line 18, strike "A" and insert in lieu thereof "An amount not to exceed fifty percent of a", on line 19, strike "person who has been", strike lines 20 and 21 in their entirety and strike line 22 through "days" and insert in lieu thereof "veteran during the taxable year".,

and thence referred to the TAXATION AND REVENUE COMMITTEE.
