Your ENERGY AND NATURAL RESOURCES COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred
HOUSE BILL 1014
has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
1. On page 2, line 13, after the period insert "This article shall not be construed to apply to stockmen or livestock owners who may build or construct water tanks or ponds that have a capacity of ten acre-feet or less on a dry watercourse for the purpose of watering stock.".
2. On page 3, line 2, after "application" insert "on a perennial stream".
3. On page 3, lines 4 and 5, strike "be on a perennial stream" and insert in lieu thereof "impair senior or acequia water rights".,
and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
