AN ACT

RELATING TO LAW ENFORCEMENT; REPEALING THE ORGANIZED CRIME ACT THAT CREATES THE GOVERNOR'S ORGANIZED CRIME PREVENTION COMMISSION.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. REPEAL.--Sections 29-9-1 through 29-9-17 NMSA 1978 (being Laws 1973, Chapter 225, Sections 1 through 3, Laws 1977, Chapter 215, Section 3, Laws 1973, Chapter 225, Section 4, Laws 1973, Chapter 225, Sections 6 and 7, Laws 1997, Chapter 215, Section 6, Laws 1973, Chapter 225, Sections 9 and 10 and Laws 1977, Chapter 215, Section 8, as amended) are repealed.
