Mr. Speaker:

    Your APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 952

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, line 21, after "person" insert a comma and "within fifteen days of employment,".

    2. On page 2, line 15, strike "not to exceed twenty dollars ($20.00)".

    3. On page 2, line 19, strike the period and insert in lieu thereof a comma and the following:

"provided that the amount of the fee shall not exceed:

              (1) ten dollars ($10.00) for permits issued before July 1, 2007;

              (2) fifteen dollars ($15.00) for permits issued on or after July 1, 2007 and before July 1, 2008; and

              (3) twenty dollars ($20.00) for permits issued on or after July 1, 2008.".
