AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH FOR THE DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES MEDICAID WAIVER PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three million five hundred forty thousand dollars ($3,540,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to restore the provider reimbursement rate cuts in the developmental disabilities medicaid waiver program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
