AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CULTURAL AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT FOR EXPENSES OF MOVING A NEW MEXICO ART EXHIBIT TO THE UNITED NATIONS FOR TEMPORARY DISPLAY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the cultural affairs department for expenditure in fiscal years 2005 and 2006 to defray expenses of moving an art exhibit from the state to the United Nations for temporary display. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
