AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF NEW MEXICO HIGHLANDS UNIVERSITY FOR A TECHNOLOGY TRAINING INSTITUTE AND COMPUTATIONAL ENGINEERING PROGRAM.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seven hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($775,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico highlands university for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to establish a technology training institute and computational engineering program at New Mexico highlands university. The program shall be established in conjunction with New Mexico institute of mining and technology. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
