    Your AGRICULTURE AND WATER RESOURCES COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 917

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 2, line 10, after the period insert:

    "For the purposes of this section, the easement created pursuant to this section shall be adequate to allow for reasonable maintenance, use and improvements to the ditch.".

    2. On page 2, lines 15 and 16, strike "ditch or acequia is completely or partially located" and insert in lieu thereof "violation occurred".

    3. On page 2, line 23, strike "lieu of a criminal complaint" and insert in lieu thereof "addition to criminal prosecution".

    4. On page 4, line 5, strike "shall" and insert in lieu thereof "may".

    5. On page 4, lines 11 and 12, strike "ditch or acequia is completely or partially located" and insert in lieu thereof "violation occurred".

    6. On page 4, line 19, strike "lieu of a criminal complaint" and insert in lieu thereof "addition to criminal prosecution".,

and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
