AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY OF STATE TO IMPLEMENT THE NATIVE AMERICAN VOTING RIGHTS PROGRAM IN SANDOVAL COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the office of the secretary of state for expenditure in fiscal years 2006 through 2008 to implement the Native American voting rights program in Sandoval county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
