    Your GOVERNMENT AND URBAN AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

 

HOUSE BILL 868

 

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

 

     1. On page 3, line 21, strike "three" and insert in lieu thereof "four".

 

     2. On page 4, strike line 15 in its entirety and on line 16, strike "council".

 

     3. On page 4, line 18, after "Nation" strike the remainder of the line and strike line 19 through "Nation".

 

     4. On page 4, line 21, after "Tribe" strike the remainder of the line and strike line 22 through "Tribe".

 

     5. On page 4, line 24, after "Nation" strike the remainder of the line and strike line 25 through "Nation".

 

     6. On page 5, line 1, strike "three" and insert in lieu thereof "four".

 

     7. On page 5, line 4, after "affairs" insert ", Albuquerque area office,".

 

     8. On page 5, between lines 4 and 5, insert the following new paragraph:

 

                "(2) one representative from the federal bureau of Indian affairs Navajo area office designated by the regional director;".

 

     9. Renumber succeeding paragraphs accordingly.

 

     10. On page 5, line 11, strike "three" and insert in lieu thereof "four".

 

     11. On page 8, line 2, after "PURPOSE" insert

"--APPROPRIATIONS".,

 

 

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
