HOUSE BILL 856

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, line 12, strike "PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR TEACHERS IN" and insert in lieu thereof "FUNDING TO THE".

     2. On page 1, line 13, strike "IN" and insert in lieu thereof "TO DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT MULTICULTURAL".

     3. On page 1, strike line 19, strike "development for" on line 20 and insert in lieu thereof "provide funding to the".

     4. On page 1, line 20, strike "schools teachers in" and insert in lieu thereof "school district to develop and implement multicultural".

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
