    Your BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 849

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 2, line 5, strike the period and insert in lieu thereof a comma and the following:

"provided that a discount of fifteen percent for the first insertion and for subsequent insertions shall be applied for legal notices and advertisements submitted in a format that is acceptable to the publisher and will reduce typesetting time for the newspaper by providing legal ad copy on a computer disk; via computer modem; or presented camera-ready to the publisher.".
