AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE COMMISSION ON HIGHER EDUCATION TO COOPERATE WITH THE MID REGION COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS TO HIRE AN ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGER AND A RESEARCH ASSISTANT FOR THE RESOURCE CENTER FOR RAZA PLANNING AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE AND PLANNING.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the commission on higher education for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to cooperate with the mid region council of governments to hire an administrative manager and a research assistant for the resource center for raza planning at the university of New Mexico school of architecture and planning. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
