AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE SECOND JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT FOR THE SAY NO TO ABUSING POWER AND GIRLS EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the second judicial district court for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 for operating the say no to abusing power program and the program to empower girls. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
