AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO'S CHARLIE MORRISEY RESEARCH HALL TO PROVIDE A DISTANCE-LEARNING, WEB-BASED MATH-SCIENCE ACADEMIC CURRICULUM.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for the Charlie Morrisey research hall for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to provide a distance-learning, web-based math-science academic curriculum. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
