AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO TO EXPAND THE SPECIAL PERINATAL PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred nineteen thousand dollars ($319,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to expand the special perinatal program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
