AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE PUBLIC EDUCATION DEPARTMENT FOR A BILINGUAL EDUCATION POSITION IN COACHING.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 for a bilingual education position to be added to the coaching staff at west Las Vegas high school. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
