    Your APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 737

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, line 11, strike the line up to "THE" and insert in lieu thereof "FIXING".

    2. On page 1, lines 15 through 21, strike Section 1 in its entirety and insert in lieu thereof:

    "Section 1. FUNDING FORMULA--SCIENCE ADJUSTMENT.--The commission on higher education shall adjust the higher education funding formula so that science courses taught at public two-year post-secondary educational institutions are funded at the same level as undergraduate courses taught at public four-year post-secondary educational institutions.".
