FORTY-SEVENTH LEGISLATURE

Mr. Speaker:

    Your BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 721

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 2, line 21, strike "and" and between lines 21 and 22 insert the following new paragraphs:

                "(4) the secretary of children, youth and families or the secretary's designee;

                 (5) the secretary of environment or the secretary's designee; and".

     2. Renumber the succeeding paragraph accordingly.

     3. On page 2, line 23, strike "serves" and insert in lieu thereof "serve".

     4. On page 3, line 10, strike "and".

     5. On page 3, line 12, strike the period and insert in lieu thereof a semicolon and between lines 12 and 13 insert the following new subparagraphs:

                     "(l) one food service director;

                      (m) one high school student who is appointed on the basis of active involvement in the area of nutrition; and

                      (n) one representative from a Native American health-related organization.".

     6. On pages 13 through 15, strike Sections 11 through 16 in their entirety.

     7. Renumber the succeeding sections accordingly.

     8. On page 16, line 3, after "schools" insert "to purchase textbooks and instructional material".,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
